|The Friends of Black Rock House invite you to visit Black Rock House in Melbourne’s Bayside suburb of the same name. You may also like to become a member to support this heritage-listed treasure, built by Victoria’s first Auditor-General Charles Ebden from 1856-58. It is well worth the visit to this intriguing historic Victorian era home to see the castle-style fortress wall, sand and paint finish, French reproduction wallpapers (from the originals), shady Moreton Bay Fig garden, and antique furniture and costumes presented to reflect the story of the House.|

Sunday Guided Tours: First Sunday of the Month (Feb-Dec), 1-4pm
2018 Dates: 1 July, 5 August, 2 September, 7 October, 4 November, 2 December
Costumed guides share the intriguing history of the house built as a holiday residence by Victoria's first Auditor-General, Charles Ebden. See the new interior decoration including unusual Victorian wallpapers. Outside enjoy the castle wall and magnificent Moreton Bay Fig trees. Donations accepted.
Historic Ghost Tours
Dates: 13 June, 11 July and 8 august. 7.30pm for 8pm start.
Our Historic Ghost Tours are marvellously conducted by actors David Dodd and Cheryl Richards. Champagne on arrival and refreshmetns at the conclusion. Tickets are $20 per person. Age requirement: 16+. Tickets available on Trybooking.com. All monies go to the refurbishment of Black Rock House.

As well as our Winter ghost tours that tell the haunted house history of Black Rock House, monthly Paranormal Tours are held for those who seek a paranormal experience with past residents and staff of the House for themselves. Using the latest instrumentation, the team from Paranormal X Files will host your Black Rock House experience in the dark. Tickets for these events are snapped up quickly and are on sale through TryBooking, click here or use the link to join the waitlist. BTickets: $40. Open to those 18+ only.
The full income from ticket sales goes towards the restoration and upkeep of Black Rock House.
